Philly Tech Justice is a coalition fighting for digital justice, accessible technology and internet, and power over our own data.

We are pushing back against intrusive data collection and unnecessary camera surveillance, and digital illiteracy and lack of technology access. We are running a variety of campaigns, including pushing back against surveillance technologies in Philadelphia and holding our elected officials accountable to expanding broadband access across the city.

We are currently focused on our COVID-19 related work, particularly around bridging the digital divide. Too many are left out of work, school, information, and connection due to lack of internet access as well as computers and cell phones. We fight to ensure that no Philadelphian is excluded from essential information because they can’t afford internet.
